Come along on a slow Saturday-morning bike ride along Santa Fe’s urban trails, and bike lanes on “complete streets,” before joining another ride to the Roundhouse for “Bike Day” – honoring efforts to reduce distracted driving and increase “complete streets” throughout our state.

The morning “community cruise” will depart from South Capitol Railrunner Station at 10:30 and travel the Santa Fe Rail Trail to visit the Gail Ryba Trail and underpass, which was named for the founder of the Bicycle Coalition of New Mexico (BCNM) as well as Greater Albuquerque Spokespeople, the predecessor to BikeABQ.   Then we will ride along mellow roads as well as ample bike lanes on Old Pecos Trail and Cordova Rd. to arrive at NM Bike n’ Sport by noon.

You bring a bike and a helmet and I will provide the tour!

After our morning cruise, another ride led by BCNM’s Jackie Shane will head to the Roundhouse for the Bike Day event organized by New Mexico Motorcycle Rights Organization (NMMRO) and BikeABQ.  Participants headed to the Roundhouse event are invited to lunch at Bike n Sport provided by the Law Office of Diane Albert.  To make sure there is a sandwich for you, please sign up for the Roundhouse event at https://www.sportsreg.com/events/details?id=55200
