Dale Ball Remembrance Natl Trails DayJoin us this Saturday, June 4th, for a celebration of National Trails Day at the Sierra del Norte trailhead from 9 to 11 am.   The Santa Fe Conservation Trust will be celebrating the memory of Dale Ball, one of its founders and first Executive Director, who was the catalyst for the 30 miles of dirt paths bearing his name that wind and climb through foothills, arroyos and forests in Santa Fe.  He passed away on February 14, 2016 at the age of 91.

Festivities will kick off at the Sierra del Norte trailhead (Hyde Park Road at Sierra del Norte Road) with a guided moderate hike at 9:00, followed by refreshments at 11:00.  Longer self-guided hikes are also accessible from this location.
