Kids Need Nature! A City Summer Camper samples a ponderosa pine tree on an SFCT-led field trip in Dale Ball Trails.

Please consider coming to the Lensic to hear Richard Louv speak on how kids – and adults – need nature.

Thanks to support from the Lineberry Foundation, the Santa Fe Conservation Trust is joining Santa Fe Waldorf School to sponsor this event in order to help raise awareness of the value of open spaces and trails in our area.  For more information please see http://www.santafewaldorf.org/louv/

In conjunction with our Passport to Trails program, we are also offering scholarships to SFPS teachers, starting with the four schools that we work with to get kids out on the trails.

We hope you can join us, and we hope that there is even more interest in exposing kids and adults to nature after Richard Louv’s inspirational lecture.
